Ingredients:

  • 2T vegan butter

  • 2T plain flour (gluten-free if required)

  • 1 cup plant-based milk

  • ½ cup Angel Food dairy-free cheddar, grated

  • 1t prepared mustard

  • Salt and pepper

How to make Cheese Sauce (Steps)

  1. Melt vegan butter in a small saucepan over a medium heat.

  2. Sprinkle in flour and cook until frothy, stirring constantly.

  3. Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly until sauce boils and thickens.

  4. Add the grated cheddar and continue cooking for 2 more minutes, stirring often.

  5. Add mustard, and salt and pepper to taste.
