Easy Vegan Margherita Pizza by Tess Eden

Ingredients:
1 pizza base
1 Tbsp tomato paste
1/3 cup Angel Food mozzarella cheese
1 small tomato, sliced
Fresh basil
3 Tbsp cream cheese
Cracked pepper, chilli oil & salt

Method:

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees fan bake.

  2. Line a baking paper lined tray.

  3. Stack the pizza with ingredients, making sure to grate the mozzarella thinly.

  4. Bake for 20 minutes until golden and crispy.

  5. Add fresh basil and chilli oil on top. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

VEGAN CHEESE TIPS!!

  • The thinner you slice, grate and chop the vegan cheese – the easier it will be to melt.

  • Make sure to use it sparingly in comparison to dairy cheese – a little goes a long way.

  • Use multiple vegan cheeses for extra deliciousness! (Angel Food cream cheese + mozzarella is a great combo)
