½ cup grated Angel Food Dairy-Free Mozzarella
½ cup grated Angel Food Dairy-Free Cheddar
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
1 Tbsp Angel Food Dairy-Free Smoky Parmesan
¾ cup panko bread crumbs
2 flaxseed eggs 2 TBS ground flaxseed + 6 TBS water
Preheat oven to 180degrees on fan-bake.
Slice the jalapeños down one side lengthwise; remove the seeds and insides.
Mix together half a cup of each Angel Food mozzarella and cheddar and stuff the cheese mixture inside the jalapeños.
Mix together the panko breadcrumbs (use gluten free breadcrumbs to make it GF), onion powder, garlic powder, and Angel Food Smoky Parmesan. Then coat the jalapeños in the flax egg and then the crumb mixture.
Heat vegetable oil in a small saucepan, enough to cover the jalapeños.
Place the jalapeños in the hot oil (being very careful) until the crumb is golden.
Take the jalapeños out of the saucepan, drain, then place in the oven for 5-10 minutes to finish.
Serve with tomato relish, bbq sauce, vegan aioli, or whatever dipping sauce you fancy!
